We are pleased to share a final copy of the NNADAP Renewal Research Paper – Improving Mental Health Services and Supports in the National Native Alcohol and Drug Abuse Program. The paper is one of five research papers commissioned by the First Nations Addictions Advisory Panel (FNAAP), the national committee of First Nations and other addiction professionals that have been tasked with developing a Renewed Program Framework for On-reserve Addiction services by December of 2010.

The research paper authors, Dr. Rod McCormick and Darryl Quantz, carried out a literature review, as well as a set of key informant interviews which involved NNADAP staff. The overall purpose of this research paper was to explore opportunities for improving the integration of mental health and addictions programming within NNADAP.
