The summary report is a 14-page overview of the full version of Honouring Our Strengths: A Renewed Framework to Address Substance Use Issues Among First Nations People in Canada. The document outlines an approach to successfully strengthening the current care model. It identifies the guiding principles upon which the framework approach is based; the six elements of a continuum of care to respond to the needs of individuals, families, and communities; and six key supports to the continuum of care.
